JOB SUMMARY

We seek a creative and skilled Content Marketing and Media Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, video content creation, and storytelling. You will be responsible for creating engaging tutorials, compelling social media shorts, and documenting customer journeys through media. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skills to produce high-quality content that supports our marketing efforts and assists the Content Marketing Specialist with social graphics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Content Creation: Develop engaging tutorials and social media shorts highlighting product features and customer journeys. Ensure all content is visually appealing and on-brand.
• Graphic Design: Create high-quality graphics for tutorials, social media, and other marketing materials using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.
• Storyboarding: Develop detailed storyboards for video content to communicate customer journeys and product features effectively.
• Video Production: Shoot, edit, and produce video content for tutorials, social media, and other marketing initiatives.
• Media Documentation: Document product features and updates through various media formats, including video, graphics, and written content.
• Support Content Marketing Specialist: Assist the Content Marketing Specialist with creating and updating social graphics.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer support teams to understand product features and customer needs and ensure all content is relevant and engaging.
• Content Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of a content strategy that aligns with our overall marketing goals.
• WordPress Blog Management: Update the WordPress blog, including posting new content, updating existing posts of created content, and managing internal and external links.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze content performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers through social media and other channels to gather feedback and insights for content creation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Content Creator, Media Specialist, or similar role.
• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.). Experience in video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
• Excellent storytelling and storyboarding skills.
• Ability to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content promotion strategies.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with animation and motion graphics.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.
