About the role

As the Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and cost-effective management of the company's vehicle fleet. This full-time, on-site role in Mandaue City, Cebu, is crucial in ensuring the smooth operations of the organization's logistics and transportation functions.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage the fleet, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
  • Oversee the scheduling, maintenance, and repair of all vehicles in the fleet to maximize uptime and minimize downtime
  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible terms for vehicle acquisition, servicing, and fuel
  • Manage the fleet budget and control costs through effective procurement and expense management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the fleet supports the overall business objectives
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the fleet's performance and status

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fleet management or a relevant logistics/transportation role
  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, repair, and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proven track record of optimizing fleet performance and reducing costs
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industry
