JOB ROLE:

  • Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, wireless, IP/MPLS).
  • Configure and install network hardware (routers, switches, radios) on-site and in central offices.
  • Collaborate with field engineers and OSP/ISP teams for proper network rollouts in FSO projects.
  • Perform network troubleshooting and fault isolation during activations or site maintenance.
  • Monitor network performance, uptime, and ensure QoS/SLAs are met.
  • Support backhaul and access network infrastructure, including fiber and microwave links.
  • Manage and maintain network documentation, including topology maps and IP plans.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to field technicians and contractors.
  • Coordinate with NOC and Systems Teams for escalations and incident resolution.
  • Conduct pre-acceptance testing (PAT), commissioning, and site integration.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in telecom network deployment or support.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and VLANs.
  • Familiarity with fiber optic networks, GPON, xPON, and microwave technologies.
  • Proficient in using network diagnostic tools (Wireshark, NetFlow, etc.).
  • Knowledge in using NMS platforms and remote access tools.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and support field operations as needed.
