The Accounting Intern will assist the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in essential accounting functions such as bank reconciliation, sales data validation, and document management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank reconciliation by matching company transactions with bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Validate sales data to confirm accuracy between sales records, receipts, and accounting system entries.
  • Assist in filing and organizing accounting documents, such as invoices, receipts, vouchers, and journal entries.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and schedules as needed.
  • Help monitor and record day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and timely submission of financial requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial information.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.
  • Willing to work in Malate, Manila
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
