Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists user in the use of standard office software.
  • Monitors employees' needs and requirements that may involve use of IT.
  • Recommends software to be used within the branch/campus.
  • Ensures the protection and maintenance of all software for office use.
  • Assists user in the implementation of developed systems for campus/branch use.
  • Complies with all directives of the SVICIO or his authorized representative
  • Supports all activities of the branch/campus that would involve use of IT software.
  • Ensures that all software used by the campus is complete and updated at all times.
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned superior.
  • Ensures all data and software on disk/server is protected and that the proper back-up plans are implemented.
  • Ensures that all delivered software are working and that they complying with the required specifications. Keeps inventory records for all software licenses and ensure that all media are kept in good working condition.
  • Coordinates with the campus/branch School Director on matters related to computer lab use and office IT programs.
  • Reports to immediate superior any non-routine concern or problem that requires higher level of decision making.

Job Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
