About the Role

We're a global leader in electrical power engineering design software, trusted by engineers, utilities, and major enterprises worldwide. As we expand our platform with AI-powered features and intelligent workflows, we're looking for a driven Technical Sales Engineer to help grow adoption of our industry-leading solutions.

In this role, you'll blend engineering expertise with strong commercial acumen to build relationships with technical teams, decision-makers, and business stakeholders. You'll identify new opportunities, present high-value product solutions, and guide customers through the full adoption journey — all with a focus on driving revenue growth and long-term customer success.

Your work will directly influence how customers leverage our software to modernize electrical system design and unlock the next generation of AI-enhanced engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the engineering and renewable energy sectors.
  • Build and manage relationships with prospective and existing customers, from engineers to senior executives.
  • Conduct technical product demonstrations, presentations, and webinars tailored to customer needs.
  • Translate customer requirements into solutions using our software, highlighting ROI and performance improvements.
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, and commercial agreements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align campaigns with market opportunities.
  • Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline activity.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging customer needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering (electrical preferred, but other engineering disciplines considered).
  • Proven track record in sales — ideally in software sales or technical product sales.
  • Strong understanding of engineering workflows, challenges, and customer decision-making processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable with achieving sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
