Job Title: Special Needs Education Teacher (SPED Teacher)

Location: BGC Taguig or Kawit, Cavite (depending on teacher's location)

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Reports To: Center Manager / Managing Director

Job Summary:

The Special Needs Education Teacher will provide individualized, one-on-one instruction to learners with developmental, behavioral, or learning differences. The teacher will design and implement personalized educational programs to help each child achieve functional, academic, and social goals in a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 1-on-1 teaching sessions tailored to each learner's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or learning goals.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, learning materials, and activities that address the learner's unique strengths and needs.
  • Monitor and document the learner's progress, providing regular feedback to parents, therapists, and the center team.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (e.g., therapists, case managers, psychologists) to support holistic learner development.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment.
  • Participate in case conferences, parent meetings, and team trainings as required.
  • Report to the assigned branch in BGC Taguig or Kawit, Cavite, depending on the teacher's location and schedule.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professional standards at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or related field (required).
  • PRC License or SPED Certification (preferred).
  • Experience in handling children with special needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, GDD, learning disabilities) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work on-site.

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling based on class assignments
