DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for mechanical design of various projects including preparation of materials take-off, cost estimate, ordering, bid evaluation and project monitoring.

  • Designs, prepare drawings and cost estimates of mechanical projects.

  • Monitors the implementation of projects in close coordination with other department team leader, contractor and customer.

  • Prepares material take-off, specifications, request for quotations, project schedules, progress reports, project updates / status, etc.

  • Order materials and check them if they conform to specifications.

  • Prepare bids and contracts document for contracted project.

  • Evaluate quotations.

  • Performs other related tasks assigned by team leader.

EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

  • Must be licensed Mechanical Engineer, RME

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

  • Computer literate, proficient in AutoCAD and Windows applications

  • Knowledgeable in Mechanical Design Calculation, estimates, and projects coordination
