Pantaw Construction and Project Management Corporation is looking for a dedicated professional to oversee and manage the mechanical systems for our project in Minglanilla, Cebu. Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, including HVAC, elevators, plumbing, fire protection, and ventilation.
  • Ensure that all mechanical installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Develop and/or review mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Perform calculations for heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing systems.
  • Select appropriate mechanical equipment and materials.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of mechanical installations to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation related to mechanical work.
  • Manage and supervise mechanical contractors and workers on site.
  • Stay updated on the latest mechanical technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. A valid and active Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME) license in the Philippines is highly preferred. Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) license with significant relevant experience is a requirement.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in building construction or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, Philippine Plumbing Code, etc.).
  • Experience with HVAC systems, elevators, plumbing design, fire protection systems, and ventilation.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant design software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
