Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of cloud services, automation, and best practices to ensure our cloud environments are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Develop and implement cloud solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications
  • Automate cloud operations and infrastructure management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar
  • Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency and performance
  • Develop scripts and tools to improve deployment and operational efficiency
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations
  • Monitor cloud environments to ensure availability, performance, and security
  • Identify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure promptly

Qualifications

  • Graduate of bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of work experience in technical roles at a consulting/professional services company or cloud provider
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS in enterprise class environments. Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Experience in 1-2 areas that's a technology passion such as infrastructure modernization, data management, application development, data and analytics, security and compliance, networking, SRE, migration and program management
  • Hands on experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Has working knowledge on scripting and automation languages and tools e.g. with Python
  • Background in working with Linux and Windows OS environments
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver)
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with third party vendors, IT Management, and developer
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Working knowledge on DevOps or Agile methodologies is preferred
  • Willing to work 3 days onsite and 2 day WFH
  • Willing to work in Mandaluyong City
