About the Role

PHILMETAL PRODUCTS, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Carmona, Cavite. This role plays a vital part in overseeing the maintenance and reliability of our state-of-the-art steel manufacturing facility, ensuring optimum performance, safety, and efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to proactively identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, electricians, and mechanics in performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Analyse equipment performance data and maintenance records to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime and maximise plant productivity
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times
  • Manage the maintenance budget and optimise resources to achieve operational efficiency
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team competency
  • Continuously identify and implement opportunities to improve maintenance processes and plant reliability
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Plant Maintenance Supervisor or similar role, preferably in the steel manufacturing industry
  • Strong technical background in industrial equipment, machinery, and maintenance best practices
  • Proven leadership ability with experience managing a team of maintenance professionals
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
