Seeking an Estimator experienced in both production and sales estimating within the home building industry. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of construction processes, cost estimation methodologies, and material quantification. This role is critical for supporting accurate pricing, optimizing project budgets, and contributing to overall profitability.

What You'll Do:

You'll be the kind of person who:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects based on designs,specifications, and materials.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including project managers, architects, and procurement to ensure cost estimates align with project goals.
  • Develop and maintain unit pricing databases and update costs based on market trends and supplier pricing.
  • Participate in budget development processes and provide input on cost-saving recommendations and value engineering options.
  • Evaluate subcontractor quotes and proposals for accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and revise estimates as project scopes change, ensuring continuous accuracy in budgeting and project tracking.
  • Monitor financial aspects of ongoing projects to compare estimated versus actual costs and recommend process improvements.
