Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce/ Business Administration major in Accounting

Experience: 2 years of relevant experience

Training: 8 hours of relevant training

Competencies: Government Financial Analysis and Forecasting; Internal Control; Knowledge of COA and DBM and other accounting and budgetary rules and regulations; Knowledge of Data Access and Protection Legislation; Leadership and Management; Problem Solving and Decision-Making Interpersonal Skills; Communication Skills; Professional Integrity

Eligibility: RA 1080 (Certified Public Accountant)

Salary Grade 19: PERA/month)

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Analysis and verification of the correctness of the presentation and preparation of the financial statements, its content and compliance with the application accounting and auditing standards;

· Supervision on the transaction processing and financial reporting activities of the university;

· Review and reconciliation of the claims and accounts from current year's operation and prior years' adjustments;

· Certification of availability of funds; and signing of Disbursement Vouchers, Purchase Requests, Purchase Order and Liquidation;

· Answering the Audit Observation Memorandum, Notice of Disallowances, Notice of Suspension; and monitoring accounts to identify problems of expenditures or obligations; determines most suitable accounting procedures for particular accounts; writes guidelines for such accounts; resolves associated problems;

· Performing of other administrative duties incident to the job position identified
