JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
PARTNERSHIPS
- Develop partnerships with local businesses to enhance tourist experiences and coordinate events.
- Sari-sari store signage
- Identify hotels to partner with Annual events like (OktoberFest, Halloween, Christmas, etc.)
- Other relevant responsibilities arising from this duty
SALES
- Plan and execute on-ground sales activities during events, focusing on promoting and selling Loop passes and tickets
- Sales Tracking - Monitor and report daily sales figures, ensuring accurate record-keeping and analysis of sales performance
- Create sales report to track successful customer payments
- Deposit monetary sales back to Finance
- Customer Engagement - Engage with event attendees to promote services, gather feedback, and enhance customer experience
- Other duties that are relevant under this task
MARKETING
- Execute approved marketing strategies coming from HQ (Manila)promoting sustainable transportation options
- Distribution of sourced marketing materials to events location and Brand Ambassadors use during events
- Coordinate marketing efforts to align with seasonal trends and events.
- Conduct surveys to understand tourist preferences and tailor marketing strategies
- Can work with BAs to ensure needed surveys are conducted
- Work with HQ Marketing team to ensure questions, tone and messaging is approved and appropriate for needed survey
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed
- Be the person on-ground to monitor on-going events, booths, activation or activities and take note of what's happening
- Create a report to submit to marketing HQ the ffg:
- Daily updates on event success
- Measure KPIs given by Marketing HQ to monitor effectiveness of event
- Handle Brand Ambassador's performance and ensure their attendance
- Be the PIC in ensuring BA's, part-timers connected to events conducted by El Nido remain compliant with Xpress policies
- Monitor their performance, attendance and give feedback to Marketing and HR if replacement is needed for poor performers
- Monitor Incentive Bonus given to BAs by verifying their work outputs
Supplier Sourcing and Procurement
- Sourcing local suppliers for: flyers, tarpaulin, banners, merchandise, etc.
- Coordinating with Marketing and Finance for Payment Requests on approved marketing materials
- Sourcing office supplies including but not limited to pantry supply, work office equipment, and other office supplies
- Coordinating payment request with Manager and Finance
Liquidation of Marketing and Procurement Expenses
- Liquidation of receipts and expenses incurred both under Marketing and Office
- Submission to Manager and Finance on a timely basis
Permit Request to Admin
- For all marketing activities that may require a permit, clearance, agreements or any fees, it is your responsibility to confirm the need for any of this and relay it to Admin (Herlee) for processing and acquisition of any needed permits
- Other relevant function here to ensure smooth preparation of events
OTHER DUTIES THAT MAY BE ASSIGNED:
- Assist in administrative tasks such as maintaining marketing inventories when needed
- Assist in Mobility Operations only when needed
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between marketing team and local businesses
- Stay aware of current and upcoming trends and terminology
- Maintain and engage with key influencers in the same field to assist the pertinent information
- Perform other related duties as assigned, whether communicated verbally or in writing, to support the efficient operation of the department
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Deep understanding of the local tourism industry.
- Proven experience in destination marketing or tourism-focused campaigns.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to design marketing materials emphasizing convenience and eco-friendly aspects.
- Experience in implementing surveys to understand preferences and tailor marketing strategies.
- Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
