IT Support Engineer (Permanent WFH | 4-day Work Week | Day Shift)
Location: Remote – Philippines
Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM PH Time | 4-day Compressed Work Week (The working days and rest days may vary per week. This means that candidates must be open to working during weekends. During the training period, candidates must work during the evening shift).

Safari Micro is a well-established U.S.-based MSP and value-added reseller supporting businesses, schools, and government agencies across the U.S. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, we're expanding our Philippines-based IT Support Team.
You'll report directly to our VP of Technical Services, supporting diverse client environments while gaining valuable exposure to Microsoft, networking, and enterprise IT systems — all on a permanent day shift with mentorship and growth.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver hands-on support via phone or email, resolving issues across Microsoft platforms (Windows Server, 365, Office, Windows 10/11, Cloud) and troubleshooting server, network, and application environments, including systems from Cisco, Sophos, Fortinet, and more
- Work with ticketing platforms (ConnectWise, ServiceNow) to resolve end-user issues
- Assist with Azure, Intune, AVD, backups, and endpoint management
- Collaborate with senior U.S. engineers to escalate and learn advanced cases
- Champion new tech solutions to continuously improve client IT environments
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
Who We're Looking For:
Required:
- Exceptional English skills — written and spoken. We prioritize this above deep technical expertise. If you can explain a troubleshooting step in 2–3 precise sentences that a U.S. end-user immediately understands, you meet our core requirement.
- years in IT support (MSP or enterprise IT strongly preferred)
- Experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Azure, and remote support tools
- Familiarity with networking basics: DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall troubleshooting
- Self-motivated, dependable, and documentation-driven
- Takes ownership, responds promptly, and communicates with clarity and honesty
Nice-to-Have:
- Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.)
- Experience with backup tools like Veeam or Datto
- Exposure to Microsoft Server environments, SCCM, AVD, or cloud PaaS/IaaS
