Location: Remote (Philippines)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, following US time zone

Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations remotely. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining general ledger accounts, and supporting monthly and annual closing processes. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong accounting background—especially those who have worked with US-based clients or within the HOA management industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for multiple HOAs.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Process bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist with budgeting, audit preparation, and financial analysis as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
Collaborate with internal teams and communicate with HOA boards or clients when needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA license is highly preferred but not required.
At least 2 years of solid accounting experience.
Experience working with US-based Homeowners Associations (HOAs) is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of US accounting principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in QuickBooks, AppFolio, TOPS, Vantaca, CINC or similar HOA/accounting software is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines.
Must be able to work Monday to Friday on a US time zone schedule.
