About the role

As a full-time Project-In-Charge, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction painting/waterproofing projects. With a focus on project management, this role is crucial in ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects from inception to completion
  • Lead project planning and scheduling to optimise workflows and meet deadlines
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and site workers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance processes
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project performance
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and processes

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (3+ years) as a Project-In-Charge or similar role in the construction industry
  • Specific experience in painting/waterproofing construction projects is required
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex construction projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges and mitigate risks
  • Proficient in using project management software and tools
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, regulations, and safety protocols
  • A relevant university degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
  • Safety certifications are required for this position
