POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Shopify Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's Shopify websites to ensure a seamless and high-performing e-commerce experience. The role includes implementing custom themes, optimizing site functionality and SEO, and ensuring alignment with brand and marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites, themes, and apps.
  • Manage and optimize the company's Shopify account, including product setup, collections, and navigation.
  • Create responsive and visually appealing web designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
  • Work with Shopify Dawn and Horizon themes to tailor layouts and functionalities to brand needs.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across all devices.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and plugins to enhance site functionality.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website performance issues, bugs, or errors.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and the marketing team to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Maintain documentation and version control of all website development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of professional experience as a Shopify Developer or similar role.
  • Proven experience in developing 5–10 Shopify websites.
  • Proficient or experience in:
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Liquid (Shopify's templating language)
  • Experience working with Dawn and Horizon Shopify themes.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and website optimization.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php70, Php100,000.00 per month
