About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Tableau professional with extensive experience in Tableau Server/Cloud administration and business intelligence platform management. The ideal candidate has spent a significant portion of their career as a Tableau Developer and is highly skilled in both technical administration and BI solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Tableau Server/Cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Manage user provisioning, authentication methods, and security configurations including row-level security and user roles.
  • Monitor server performance, conduct capacity planning, and perform regular maintenance.
  • Automate administrative tasks using REST API, Tabcmd, or custom scripting.
  • Support BI project deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure smooth release cycles.
  • Collaborate with BI developers and stakeholders to optimize data visualization performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and solutions.
  • Implement CI/CD best practices and manage version control for Tableau assets.
Qualifications
  • 8–10 years of professional experience in Tableau Server/Cloud administration and BI platform management.
  • Proven background as a Tableau Developer, with strong expertise in dashboard creation, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
  • Proficient in Tableau REST API, automation tools, and scripting.
  • Knowledge of authentication methods, user access provisioning, and enterprise security protocols.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.

Work Setup & Schedule:

  • Hybrid setup – minimum once a week onsite.
  • Shift: 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM IST (Weekdays).
