GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Architect is responsible for developing and upholding architectural design standards across all store development projects. Working closely with the Project Coordinator, the Architect translates business requirements into compliant, functional, and brand-aligned architectural outputs, ensuring that every design is consistent with established store design standards.
This role includes preparing and reviewing plans, ensuring compliance with NBCP and LGU regulations, coordinating with contractors and engineers, and supporting the timely execution of store rollouts. The Architect ensures that every store design enhances customer experience, operational efficiency, and long-term facility sustainability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
DESIGN PLANNING
Develop conceptual and detailed store layouts consistent with Country Club's brand standards.
Conduct site validations to ensure design feasibility, operational flow, and compliance with safety and zoning regulations.
Prepare accurate BOQs and architectural drawings to support project budgeting and scheduling.
PROJECT COORDINATION SUPPORT
Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to align site development activities with design requirements
Provide architectural input for permits, construction documentation, and contractor scopes.
Ensure architectural deliverables are synchronized with overall project milestones.
CONSTRUCTION AND SUPPORT
Monitor site construction works to confirm design intent is implemented correctly.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies for issue resolution and compliance.
Ensure adherence to ACAP (Architect & Contractors Accreditation Program) standards.
OPERATIONAL READINESS & TURNOVER
- Participate in punch list inspections and verify completion of design-related works.
- Validate branding, finishes, fixtures, and signage prior to store turnover.
COMMUNICATION AND REPORTING
Serve as the design point of contact for stakeholders during store development.
Provide timely updates on design progress, revisions, and compliance issues.
Prepare and present architectural reports, drawings, and post-evaluation findings to management.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
SKILLS:
1–3 years in architectural design, construction supervision, or retail/commercial projects
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years of experience in civil and structural works, project management, site selection, or retail development, with a proven track record of successful store openings or related projects
- Has knowledge of project management tools for planning, budgeting, and tracking progress.
- In-depth understanding of site development processes, including zoning laws, permits, and construction regulations.
