The Kitchen Leader is responsible for supervising and managing the overall operations of the kitchen in a Korean restaurant setup. This includes ensuring dishes are prepared according to standards, maintaining food safety and sanitation, managing kitchen staff schedules, and ensuring efficient workflow to deliver quality meals on time. The role also involves training kitchen team members, monitoring food inventory, controlling wastage, and collaborating with management to develop and improve menu items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensure food preparation and cooking follow recipes and restaurant standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high performance and teamwork.
  • Monitor food inventory, request supplies, and minimize wastage.
  • Implement and maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in compliance with Philippine health regulations.
  • Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager and service team for timely order preparation and service.
  • Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control.
  • Handle kitchen staff schedules, attendance, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • Address any operational concerns or customer feedback related to kitchen performance.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of HRS, HRM, Culinary Arts or any related course
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a Korean or Asian restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of Korean cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience in a kitchen setup.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willing to work in Quezon City.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
