JOB DESCRIPTION

Preparing and operating dialysis machines, monitoring patients during treatment, and maintaining the dialysis unit's cleanliness and functionality. They work closely with nurses and doctors to ensure patients receive safe and effective dialysis.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Setting up the Dialysis Machine: Attaching dialyzers and tubing, mixing dialysate, and priming the machine.
• Preparing the Patient: Taking vital signs, ensuring the patient is comfortable, and preparing the access site for dialysis.
• Monitoring the Patient: Observing the patient for any signs of medical emergencies, such as muscle cramps, nausea, or hypotension.
• Adjusting Treatment Settings: Making necessary adjustments to the machine settings, such as fluid removal or drug administration, according to the doctor's orders.
• Cleaning and Disinfecting Equipment: Rinsing and disinfecting machines and equipment after each treatment
