: UI / UX Designer

Location
: Makati, Philippines

Working Hours
: 8pm to 5am, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
:

  • Web Design and Prototyping: Create and iterate on user-friendly web designs, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma. Transform complex concepts into elegant, user-centric designs that meet business objectives.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user behavior and preferences. Translate insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Information Architecture: Develop and maintain clear information architecture for websites, ensuring a logical flow of content and navigation.
  • Responsive Design: Design web interfaces that are responsive and accessible on various devices and screen sizes, enhancing the user experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, share design concepts, and iterate on designs based on feedback.
  • Visual Design: Apply design principles and visual storytelling to create aesthetically pleasing web interfaces, ensuring brand consistency and a polished look and feel.
  • Figma Expertise: Utilize Figma as your primary design tool for collaboration, prototyping, and design system management. Maintain organized and efficient Figma files for seamless team collaboration.
  • Design System Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure design consistency across web projects.
  • Accessibility: Prioritize accessibility in your designs to ensure a positive user experience for all users, including those with disabilities.
  • Stay Current: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to web design and user experience.

Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor's degree in UX design, web design, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing web design projects.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including experience with prototyping and collaboration features.
  • Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and effectively communicate design decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development basics is a plus.

Nice-To-Haves (Not Mandatory but will be helpful in this role):

  • Experience with other design tools, such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.
  • Familiarity with front-end development frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
  • Experience in designing for e-commerce, SaaS, or other relevant industries.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and their impact on web design.
