Assist the Station Manager/Terminal Manager/Duty Manager in managing and monitoring operational

performance of the Station.

What You Will Do

• Ensures that 1Aviation's Vision, Mission and Values are achieved.
• Ensure the station's workforce, funds and equipment are sufficient to support daily operations.
• Promotes and ensures compliance to Quality, Safety, Security and Customer Service standard based on regulatory requirements, government laws, acceptable industry standards and company policies and procedures.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are implemented.
• Conduct daily briefings/de−briefings and assist the Station Manager/Duty Manager in cascading Station Notices and Memos for all personnel.
• Alternate to the Station Manager/Duty Manager in coordinating with concerned stations and departments (e.g. NCC/HCC), for planned/unplanned flight delays/disruptions and aircraft changes.
• Monitors station facilities (e.g., airport system/gate and counter FIDS/baggage conveyors) and reports the same to the Airport Management, Station Manager and Duty Manager.
• Assists in managing day−to−day disruptions within authorized parameters and established policies and escalate to higher station management, items beyond his authority.
• Ensures that his/her shift requirements in terms of resources, facilities and supplies are sufficient and equipment is operational. Any inoperative facilities are reported and monitored if acted upon by the 9proper department.
• Prepares and submits required reports to the Duty Manager/Station Manager.
• Provides corrective and preventive actions to discrepancies and delays charged to his/her assigned areas.
• Attend and provide operational enhancements during Station meetings. Ensures that the safety and security of guests and personnel within the operations area are maintained.
• Coordinate with concerned stations and departments on passenger and ramp related concerns.
• Identify and eliminate any safety hazards, safety issues or unsafe practices.
• Performs specific functions that may be assigned by the Immediate Superior.

Customer Service

• Coordinates closely with Centralized Load Control for any loading deviations, last minute acceptance of passenger and baggage, special cargo loads and passenger boarding.
• Ensures that all baggage of no−show passenger at gate is offloaded before dispatching the flight.
• Ensures all flight documents are endorsed to the cabin crew.
• Supervise check in and gate including anticipation and resolution of related concerns to ensure flight is dispatched on time, safely and securely.
• Coordinates with concerned stations and departments on passenger related concerns (e.g., transit pax, baggage issues, safety, security, customer service requirements and other operational concerns.
• Ensures complete manpower requirement (check−in, gate, luggage unit, CHA) including paraphernalia.
• Ensures pre−flight briefing is conducted
• Supervises smooth departure and arrival operations. Attending guest service issues (e.g., LCI, ancillary products etc.) and providing immediate assistance and solution based on established policies and procedures of the carrier.
• Ensures that prompt and correct information is provided and disseminated by ground staff to departing/arriving guests.
• Supervises staff during flight disruptions.

Ramp Operations

• Responsible for ensuring monitoring and planning of the necessary equipment for the flights daily.
• Ensure readiness and standby of manpower and equipment for the departing and arriving flights.
• Ensure prompt coding and update of flight movement information.
• Checks flight status and secures all relevant info on loading/unloading and other relevant activities/requirements.
• Checks/confers with maintenance for any loading restrictions due to technical problems (i.e., defective cargo doors, pressurization problem, etc.)
• Check the aircraft movement for any flight changes/status.
• Ensures/supervises loading of security items and special cargoes including Dangerous Goods at compartment hold. Physically checks positioning of item before closing door.
• Strictly observes loading limitation of the aircraft, i.e., floor bearing capacity, structural compartments capacities and other aircraft structural limits.
• Conducts 360−degree aircraft check and report defects/dents noticed.
• Ensures that cargo doors verified closed/locked.
• Encode flight movement details in the Carrier's system.

An Ideal Candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree holder
• At least 2 years' experience in the related field
• Ability to elicit confidence and build rapport among colleagues.

• Good command of the English language
