Job Description

As an
Underwriting Manager
, you'll oversee a team of Non-QM underwriters, ensuring every loan file meets product and compliance standards. You'll collaborate closely with operations and sales to maintain seamless pipeline flow while providing expert guidance on complex scenarios and critical escalations.

The Qualifications We Seek

• At least 4 years of Non-QM underwriting experience
• At least 2 years of experience with Encompass
• Proven
  leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide teams
  toward performance goals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to compliance
• Effective communication and collaboration across teams and departments

Your Daily Tasks

• Lead a team of Non-QM underwriters.
• Ensure loan files meet product and compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with operations and sales for smooth pipeline flow.
• Provide guidance on complex scenarios and handle escalations.
