Job Description

As a Title Insurance Underwriter, you will review title opinions, issue commitments, and ensure timely and accurate underwriting decisions. You'll provide exceptional service, manage critical documentation, and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of every transaction.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Title Insurance Underwriter.
• Proficiency in computer applications including Windows, Office 365, and SoftPro (experience in other similar platforms will also be considered).
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Effective organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and follow up in a timely manner.

Your Daily Tasks

• Review preliminary title opinions from closing attorneys and determine applicable requirements, exceptions, and insurance coverage amounts.
• Issue title commitments and make necessary revisions based on attorney requests prior to closing.
• Compile and maintain accurate records and reports related to underwriting activities.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team operations.
