Job Summary:

We are looking for a Broiler Area Consultant who will provide technical expertise and guidance to contract growers and company-owned farms. The ideal candidate will monitor farm operations, ensure compliance with company standards, and help drive production performance.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Production, or related courses
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of related work experience as Area Consultant or in Poultry Operations
  • Proficient in communication, both oral and written
  • Knowledgeable in poultry production systems and farm operations
  • Knows how to drive and with a valid driver's license

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze farm data to provide appropriate technical recommendations and solutions
  • Inspect farms, poultry houses, and facilities to ensure readiness prior to DOC placement, including cleanliness, disinfection, repairs, and equipment condition
  • Monitor and attest to farm activities, conduct process audits, and enforce biosecurity compliance
  • Provide guidance and support to growers on best farm practices, health management, and performance improvement
  • Prepare and submit accurate reports regarding farm conditions, concerns, and performance metrics
