Work Set-up: Stay In (Boarding and Meals PROVIDED)

We are currently seeking a dedicated Safety/Security Officer. The ideal candidate

must meet the following qualifications:

Qualifications:

• BS Agriculture or any other related course is a PLUS but not required
• Responsible, flexible, hardworking
• Experience in swine production is an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to adjust in the farm production environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Desire and ability to work in a physically strenuous environment
• Basic knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

produce superior quality product.

1. Maintenance of the proper usage and regular monitoring of supplies.

2. Assurance of proper data management.

3. Familiarization of oneself with department/over-all company objectives and

measurement of progress through record-keeping protocols.

1. Submission of daily, weekly and monthly reports to management

2. Attendance during staff meetings, seminars and training provided and required

by the company

1. Completion of work on a daily basis as required.

2. Accomplishment of other duties assigned by the department head.

3. Establishment and or provision of training for subordinates' development.

4. Compliance to the company's core values.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Monitors the proper implementation of Standard Operating Procedure of the

department being supervised.

1. Monitors cleanliness and hygiene of wean to finish area.

2. Monitors and guarantees proper delivery of instructions on usage and

maintenance of building equipments and facilities.

1. Performs the planning of working schedule for subordinates to sustain manpower

requirement

1. Provide daily wean to finish data, weekly slaughter forecast, photo and

production report.

1. Weekly selection of pigs intended for breeding purposes.

2. Ensures accurate encoding of data in excel, PicTraq and Metafarms to come up

with proper data analysis.

1. Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among co –

workers.

1. Biosecurity

Adheres to major protocol such as but not limited to standard showering

procedure, four days non-exposure to any contaminants prior to farm

entry, 48 hours required downtime in medium security area (MSA) before

entry to high security area (HSA).

Observes the No four legged food product policy inside the farm.

Ensures all personal belongings used in MSA are not being brought to

HSA.

1. Herd Management

Conducts proper monitoring of health condition by doing daily rounds

Initiates prompt identification, medication and management of sick animals

Diagnoses disease or any abnormal conditions through physical and

behavioral observation as basis for proper treatment

Monitors the mortality and morbidity rate of the department being

supervised and collects data of established facts.

Performs vaccination based on protocol.

Ensures the provision of feeds and water based on animal requirement

Adheres to animal welfare policy

1. Gro-fin

Guarantees the required room temperature set point

Ensures the right feeder set point to achieve the target feed intake

Assures quality selection of breeders based on standard

Ensures loading of breeders and slaughters based on set schedule and

customer's specifications
