Key Responsibilities
- Baking: Prepare and bake bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Recipe Development: Develop and test new recipes, adjusting ingredients and techniques as needed.
- Ingredient Management: Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes.
- Quality Control: Ensure baked goods meet quality and presentation standards, checking for texture, flavor, and appearance.
- Production Planning: Plan and manage production schedules to meet demand and deadlines.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, adhering to food safety protocols.
Additional Responsibilities
- Decorating: Decorate cakes and other baked goods according to customer requests or presentation standards.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers, taking orders and providing information about products.
- Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient levels, ordering supplies as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean baking equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
- Consistency: Ensure consistency in baked goods, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
