Game UI Designer

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Possess strong international aesthetic sense; skillfully apply color, lines, and visual elements to create attractive and unique design works.

  2. Responsible for the overall visual style and UI system design of the game interface, including execution, coordination, review, and optimization.

  3. Exhibit excellent communication and project-driving skills; closely collaborate with stakeholders to ensure UI displays properly across various devices and resolutions.

  4. Independently manage large-scale project designs; think creatively and deliver high-quality UI and user experience (UX) solutions.

  5. Master various visual styles and advanced UI techniques; experience in creating glass-like or skeuomorphic icon textures by hand is a plus.

  6. Design interactive animations between UI layers; develop animation prototypes and collaborate with developers to output sequence frame animations.

  7. Take the lead in solving complex UI animation challenges in key projects to enhance user immersion.

Job Requirements:

  1. Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related fields; proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, Protopie, etc.

  2. 2+ years of design experience; experience in game companies is preferred. (Portfolio or link required)

  3. Solid design foundation and strong aesthetic judgment; familiar with design standards across platforms (iOS, Android, Web); experience in building Figma component libraries; good grasp of color theory and design techniques.

  4. Basic hand-drawing skills; capable of using a drawing tablet to create icons and design elements.

  5. Proficient in using After Effects or Protopie for interactive animation demonstrations.

  6. Responsible and a team player; able to complete tasks on time with guaranteed quality.
