Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain gameplay systems using Unity (C#)
  • Integrate and optimize multiplayer features (real-time or async)
  • Collaborate with director, artists, and backend engineers
  • Build UI interactions, animations, and core loops for casual gameplay
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code
  • Optimize game performance across devices
  • Strong eye for game design, gameplay detail
  • Test and debug multiplayer issues such as lag, sync, disconnections
  • Contribute ideas to improve game mechanics and player experience

Tech Stack & Tools

  • Unity (2021 or newer), C#
  • Photon, Websocket for GameObjects
  • Version control (Git, SVN)

Qualifications

  • Strong grasp of C# programming and OOP principles
  • Experience in building real-time multiplayer games or prototypes
  • Understanding of client-server architecture
  • Familiarity with mobile development for Android/iOS
  • Good communication skills and team collaboration

Preferred

  • Experience working on casual or hyper-casual games
  • Basic backend integration (Firebase, PlayFab, or custom backend)
  • UI/UX implementation skills
  • Experience with matchmaking, lobbies, and leaderboards
  • Cocos2d is a plus
