As we continue to expand our footprint, we're seeking a motivated Accountant to support our broader Finance team across a variety of operational responsibilities.

Role Overview

As an Accountant, you will be a key part of the finance team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality operational accounting and reporting across the business. Initially helping the Doctor Distributions team, this role will evolve into various operational accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility for the completion of fortnightly Doctor distributions:

• Prepare, process, and reconcile fortnightly distributions to all Doctors.
• Ensure key inputs to the process are received from Practice Managers in a timely manner and appear reasonable. Liaise with Regional Managers if escalation is required.
• Ensure the fortnightly timetable and checklists are strictly adhered to.

System maintenance and configuration:

• Configuration of new practitioners, system codes, and medical centres to the disbursement system as and when required.
• Set up and maintain doctor profiles within the general ledger
• Maintain practitioner profiles and codes within the disbursement system, including changes in service fee arrangements, system codes, and mapping.
• Effective communication across the Business:
• Monitor the disbursement email mailbox and respond to queries in a timely manner.
• Key communication contact for disbursements for all stakeholders.

Financial Accounting responsibilities:

• Prepare the fortnightly billing journal and send it to the accounting team
• Prepare the weekly accrual data (both revenue and cost) when applicable and send to the accounting team
• Prepare, process, and reconcile quarterly incentive distributions to practitioners
• Assist with disbursement analytic requests
• Assist with external audit requests
• Assist with project work and process improvement initiatives
• Partner with stakeholders across clinical and operational teams to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Assist the broader Controllership team on a variety of operational accounting projects and initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

• 3-5 years' experience in Accounting, or a similar operational finance role
• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Experience in healthcare or multi-site service industries preferred, but not explicitly required
• Accuracy and attention to detail are required when managing accounting figures and financial records.
• High level of efficiency and accountability.
• Appropriate handling of sensitive information.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to build and manage client relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously, yet be part of a broader team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
• Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties.
• Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and Accounting packages.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php46, Php70,000.00 per month
