The Elevator Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all elevator and vertical transportation systems within managed properties of Provalue Property Services Inc. The role ensures compliance with safety standards, preventive maintenance schedules, and regulatory requirements while coordinating with service contractors and internal engineering teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise daily operations, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of elevators, escalators, and related vertical transport systems.
  2. Ensure all elevator units are operational, safe, and compliant with manufacturer specifications and government regulations.
  3. Conduct routine inspections and testing to identify defects, irregularities, or safety concerns.
  4. Coordinate with accredited elevator service providers for preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency services.
  5. Monitor contractor performance to ensure work is completed on schedule and in accordance with service agreements.
  6. Review service reports, maintenance logs, and repair recommendations submitted by contractors.

    7.Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, local building codes, and government inspection requirements.
  7. Maintain updated permits, inspection certificates, and maintenance records for all elevator units.
  8. Implement and enforce safety procedures for elevator use and emergency response.
  9. Respond promptly to elevator malfunctions, entrapments, and emergency situations.
  10. Coordinate rescue operations in accordance with established safety protocols.
  11. Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  12. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and incidents.
  13. Prepare regular status reports for Property Management and Engineering leadership.
  14. Assist in budgeting and cost monitoring for elevator maintenance and repair expenses.
  15. Coordinate with property managers, security, and engineering teams to ensure minimal disruption to tenants and guests.
  16. Provide guidance and technical support to on-site engineering or maintenance personnel as needed.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree or technical/vocational training in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. At least 3–5 years of experience in elevator maintenance, supervision, or facilities engineering.
  3. Strong knowledge of elevator systems, safety standards, and preventive maintenance practices.
  4. Experience coordinating with elevator service contractors is required.
