What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in trademark, contracts, and business formation
- Strong familiarity with USPTO processes and general corporate compliance
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong writing and proofreading skills- Proficiency in tools like Airtable, GSuite, CRM platforms, and e-signature tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
- Professional communication skills and client-facing experience
Nice to have:
- Bonus: Experience with legal operations or project management
What will you do?
Legal Support Tasks:
- Conduct trademark clearance searches and draft preliminary opinion memos
- Prepare and file trademark applications with the USPTO
- Track and manage deadlines related to trademark filings (docketing, renewals, office actions)
- Draft initial versions of commercial agreements (NDAs, service agreements, licensing agreements, etc.) using existing templates
- Assist with entity formation filings across various states (LLC/corporate formation using provided forms)
- Format, proofread, and finalize legal documents for accuracy and consistency
- Research legal issues and state-specific requirements as needed (e.g., formation rules, foreign qualifications) Assemble final client deliverables and reports, including coordinating signatures and saving files to internal systems
Project Management & Ops
- Manage and track legal projects and internal workflows using Airtable
- Monitor client tasks and follow up on outstanding deadlines and to-dos
- Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information, documents, and signatures
- Assist with onboarding new clients (welcome emails, intake forms, scheduling, etc.)
Administrative & Marketing Support
- Send engagement letters and payment details following consultations
- Post LinkedIn content on a set schedule (content provided or lightly edited)
- Follow up with leads and prospects after initial consultations
- Update and maintain CRM records to ensure accuracy
- Help draft and refine internal SOPs for smoother legal and administrative operations
