DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and follow up on overdue insurance premium accounts via phone calls, emails, and letters.
  • Contact policyholders, agents, and brokers to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve billing disputes.
  • Maintain detailed records of collection activities, payment agreements, and customer communications.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting and billing departments to resolve any discrepancies in billing or policy information.
  • Escalate delinquent accounts to the appropriate internal departments or external collection agencies when necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports on collection status and aging accounts for management review.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and company policies related to insurance collections.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of any bachelor's degree in business.
  • Previous experience in collections, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and collection management software.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and empathetically.
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and billing procedures is a plus.
