JOB OBJECTIVE:

Under the direct supervision of the Department Manager, responsible for the supervision the different functions of Mold Maintenance, coordinates production activities to other departments, monitors and ensures efficient implementation of Production Engineering guidelines and procedures.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any Engineering Course (BSME/BSEE);
  • With at least 8 years working experience in production engineering specifically Mold Maintenance Section and manufacturing set-up, 5 years of which in supervisory function;
  • Knowledgeable in Mold Repair, Improvements, Troubleshooting and Machine Preventive Maintenance Management;
  • Skills in Supervisory, Organizing, Planning, Negotiation, Leadership, Problem Solving Analysis, Numerical and excellent communication skills both in English and Filipino language.
  • Adept in computer applications and can deal with people at all levels;
  • Ability to prepare and analyze reports (including graph);
  • Willing to work and assign in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna and can start immediately.

EXPECTED PERFORMANCE:

  • Can assist and support the Department Manager in overseeing department/ section (Mold) activities and in developing employees to effectively achieve strategic goals in the organization;
  • Can handle sensitive/confidential information concerning compensation, employee performance, work related issues, problems, etc.;
  • Can establish and maintain harmonious relationship throughout the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists the department manager on supervising and overseeing the daily activities of the Mold Maintenance Section;
  • Responsible for the productivity improvement of the Mold Maintenance Section;
  • Implements and documents system within the area of responsibility;
  • Provides countermeasures to the reported nonconformance of the section;
  • Responsible in assessing of minor machine operational problems of the Section;
  • Conducts interviews on the candidate-applicants endorsed by the Human Resources Department;
  • Analyzes Trends of the following on a monthly basis or as required;

* Productivity (Machine Efficiency and Rate of Operation)

* Quality

* Cost

* Delivery

* Safety

  • Determines the workload of subordinates and requests overtime work;
  • Conducts counseling to erring subordinates on violation of company rules and regulations and recommends disciplinary action following the due process of law after consulting same with the Human Resources Department;
  • Conducts performance appraisal and recommends, regularization, promotion, transfers, re-classification, and salary appraisal;
  • Determines the training requirements of subordinates and recommends their attendance to seminars and workshops in coordination with Human Resources Department;
  • Maintains and Improves Quality System based on TS16949 Standard as well as Environmental Management System (EMS) based on ISO14001 Standard;
  • Coordinates with other departments regarding productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety concerns;
  • Performs and participates in all corporate quality, productivity, continuous improvement, occupational safety and health, environmental initiatives and programs;
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
