Job Summary:

The Production Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure that products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The role involves improving production methods, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee production processes to achieve daily and monthly targets.
  • Monitor production operations and resolve technical or process-related issues.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare production reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
  • Supervise and provide technical guidance to production staff and operators.
  • Assist in equipment installation, testing, and maintenance planning.
  • Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred at least 1 year).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of production management systems, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CAD software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
