Fine Dining Restaurant Trainer Job Description

Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs for restaurant staff ensuring they meet the highest degree of customer service and operations excellence and regulatory compliance within a fine dining establishment.

Training Delivery

  • Conduct workshops and one-on-one sessions on various topics, including:
  • Fine Dining Service Techniques: Formal service procedures, table-side presentations, and personalized guest interactions.
  • Food and Beverage Knowledge: Menu items, ingredients, wine pairings, and proper handling of high-quality products.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Adherence to health and safety regulations, food handling, and storage standards.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Delivering prompt, friendly, and exceptional service to meet guest expectations.
  • Allergy Awareness: Educating staff on identifying and communicating potential allergens to guests.
  • Needs Analysis: Conduct training needs analyses to identify areas for improvement and tailor programs accordingly.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and mentorship to staff to foster skill development and promote service excellence.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to the restaurant's service and quality standards.
  • Evaluation and Reporting: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and report on outcomes and areas for further development.
  • Compliance: Ensure all staff are knowledgeable and compliant with company policies and industry regulations.

Additional Requirements:

Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in the fine dining industry and a background in a variety of different cuisines.
