Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, profitability analysis, and strategic initiatives.
  • Track key financial metrics (e.g., revenue, COGS, operating expenses, margins) and highlight variances, risks, and opportunities.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, management dashboards, and KPI reports with clear commentary and insights.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify trends affecting financial performance.
  • Support executive leadership with ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and data visualizations.

Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with operational, sales, HR, and procurement teams to understand cost drivers and revenue performance.
  • Provide financial guidance to process owners, helping to align decisions with budgetary and strategic goals.
  • Support cross-functional projects, including pricing evaluations, cost optimization, and ROI assessments.

Data Integrity & Process Improvement

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data extracted from ERP/BI systems.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, automate processes, and improve financial systems.
  • Assist in establishing standardized financial reporting templates and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance (adjust for seniority level).
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, Workday).

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, modeling).
  • Experience with financial modeling, budgeting tools (Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion), or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization capabilities.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, curiosity, and proactive mindset.
