SHIFT: DAY / MORNING PHT

TYPE: FULL TIME; INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

The role involves managing the end-to-end process of preparing and submitting loan applications on behalf of clients. This includes gathering necessary documentation, verifying and proofing information, and compiling it accurately for submission to lenders. The role also requires following up on any queries from lenders until a final loan offer is secured. Once the client has settled on their property and loan, the position includes maintaining an ongoing relationship with clients, including conducting annual reviews and managing any refinancing or loan adjustments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing a clients affordability and presenting with assessments notes that are clear and easy to understand
  • Requesting a list of documents for an application. The system will provide a list but common sense still prevails.
  • Checking documents for accuracy against the information in the clients Fact find. Following up on any anomalies
  • Submitting a loan to the lender with clear, comprehensive diary notes
  • Following up on the loan until it settles
  • Managing in a timely manner refix's and annual reviews.
  • Maintaining notes and documents in such a way that we meet our compliance regulations
  • Ensure that good communication is maintained for all client transactions using tools provided.
  • Maintaining the service and communication with customers.
  • Creating and maintaining a positive work environment.

  • Saving client files in accordance with our convention
  • Maintaining an update CRM – Active campaign. Manage notes and pipelines stages and tasks effectively
  • Any other admin tasks to support the business
  • Ensuring the highest level of communication is applied to all clients both external and internal.
  • Following lenders guidelines and best practices using software and tools provide submit client's loans in a timely manner and work to get the best result for the customer
  • Maintain up to date knowledge regarding lender policies by reading emails, attending training and reading lenders guidelines
  • Prioritise daily and weekly tasks to maintain a good work flow as well as nurture new prospects
  • Assess mortgage applications within credit guidelines
  • Preparing documents for a client consult
  • Cross checking client's documents against fact find for accuracy before submission
  • Checking quality of documents before submission and making sure all they are required at there.
  • Ensure that good communication is maintained for all client transactions using tools provided.
  • Maintaining good service and communication with customers.
  • Maintaining the marketing plan and implementing this where needed. Making initiatives for any new ideas regarding new customers
  • Managing social media posts.
  • Creating and maintaining a positive work environment.

  • Following work practices as outlined and documented
  • Managing Email inbox's for both you and any brokers and actioning all items in a timely manner.
  • Cross checking information supplied for an application so to ensure quality applications are submitted to lenders
  • Maintaining knowledge of lender policies and guidelines
  • Updating manuals and instructions as needed
  • Complete tasks accurately and consistently in a timely manner to the highest standard within given timelines
  • Maintaining notes on all files
  • Using Active campaign effectively to manage tasks
  • Liaise with clients and related parties through the underwriting process through to settlement stage
  • Manage CRM maintenance of client records
  • Preparing RPNZ reports for existing client's properties and making notes regarding, ownership, value, how long owned, lender
  • Preparing RPNZ reports for client's potential new purchases.
  • Managing the re fix pipeline in a timely manner
  • General Admin tasks / Any other admin tasks to support the business
  • Phoning clients / prospects from the database
  • Direct calling prospects from our database to create consults / reviews

Qualification and skills needed:

  • Customer service skills
  • High level of oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to quickly learn new software tools
  • Basic excel skills
  • Word skills to layout information
  • Basic maths understanding and use of a standard calculator
  • Good communication both internal and external
  • Understand the nature of property ownership, and entities
  • Maintain high attention to detail, ensuring all compliance requirements are met

Work from Home Requirements (Must have before the start date)

  • Internet Connection : Min of 25mbps internet connection speed AND a backup internet connection (before start date)
  • Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a working computer from home with Dual Monitors
  • Noise Canceling Headset (Plantronics)
  • Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.
  • Must be comfortable working with a Monitoring Software (for payroll and timekeeping purposes only)
  • Webcam - Contractors must have a working webcam
