Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

We are seeking a motivated and culturally adaptable Sales Officer who will be responsible for acquiring, developing, and managing relationships with Japanese and Korean clients and merchants in the Philippines. The role involves business development, account management, and cross-cultural communication to expand our market presence within these specific communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and onboard new Japanese and Korean clients/merchants in the Philippines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure long-term cooperation and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company targets within the Japanese and Korean market segments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance) to design business solutions for merchants.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitor activities.

Cross-Cultural Communication

  • Serve as the main point of contact for Japanese and Korean merchants in the Philippines.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, ensuring sensitivity to cultural and language nuances.
  • Coordinate with translation or language support teams as needed.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and contracts for potential clients.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare progress reports, and provide insights to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Fluent in English and Filipino (fluency in Japanese and/or Korean is a strong advantage).
  • Experience in sales, merchant acquisition, or business development, preferably in the Philippines.
  • Familiarity with Japanese and Korean business cultures and practices.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented, adaptable, and able to work independently.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of the retail, fintech, or e-commerce industry.
  • Network or experience with Japanese and Korean communities/businesses in the Philippines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
