Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead Monthly Cycle Counts:

Spearhead and coordinate the monthly cycle counting process to verify the accuracy of inventory records, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely reconciliation.

  • Facilitate Good Warehousing Practices (Twice Monthly): Conduct bi-monthly checks and facilitate activities that promote proper warehousing standards and adherence to inventory control procedures.
  • Validate and Encode Delivery Receipts: Review delivery receipts for accuracy and completeness, and ensure timely encoding of verified data into the inventory Masterfile system.
  • Prepare Accurate Audit Working Papers:Compile clear and comprehensive audit working papers to document procedures performed, audit findings, and evidence gathered.
  • Vouch Supporting Documentation:Ensure all working papers are properly supported with original and verified documentation validate audit procedures and findings.
  • Assist with Document Filing: Support the audit team in organizing, labeling, and filing physical and digital documents related to audit activities.
  • Perform Clerical Audit Tasks: Assist in various clerical duties such as transcribing meeting notes, organizing documentation, and maintaining audit logs and reports.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A degree in business or accounting is required.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of accounting and database software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent accounting skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High numerical aptitude.
  • Detail-oriented.
