Job Description

As a Jr. Data Engineer, you'll support the continued development and optimization of data infrastructure, analytics pipelines, and reporting systems. Working closely with senior engineers, you'll enhance Power BI reporting, strengthen Microsoft Fabric capabilities, and ensure aligned, well-documented datasets across projects.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, and report development)
• At least 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines)
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python for data transformation and automation
• Solid understanding of relational data modeling, report alignment, and dataset documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and follow data governance best practices

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Fabric integration into Power BI and semantic modeling
• Familiarity with data pipeline optimization and Fabric environment performance tuning
• Understanding of SQL, Power Query (M), or other ETL tools
• Attention to detail in maintaining documentation and version control of reports

Your Daily Tasks

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI reports and datasets
• Support and expand our Microsoft Fabric environment, including Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, and Pipelines
• Contribute to data modeling, report alignment, and documentation for analytics consistency
• Automate and streamline data processing tasks using Python when applicable
• Collaborate with the analytics team to ensure timely delivery of dashboards and data products
