About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Merchandising Supervisor to ensure the right product mix, stock availability, and engaging in-store displays across all OWNDAYS locations. This role bridges sales analysis, purchasing coordination, and visual merchandising, ensuring customers always find what they need while delivering a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to senior management discussions on sales strategies, business challenges, and cross-department initiatives.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels across stores, ensuring healthy turnover, minimizing stockouts/overstock, and managing transfers/imports. Use sales data and trends for accurate forecasting.
  • Product Assortment: Maintain a complete and relevant product range aligned with market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences. Collaborate with OWNDAYS design teams on eyewear development.
  • Customer Insights: Establish systems to capture and analyze customer requests and feedback to refine assortment and product offerings.
  • Visual Merchandising: Lead the merchandising team to execute effective in-store layouts, window displays, and product placements that enhance sales and customer experience.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Support marketing and promotional strategies by ensuring key products are available and well-presented, driving traffic and boosting sales.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare sales and inventory reports, monitor competitor strategies, and recommend improvements to enhance sell-through and store performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Merchandising Manager/Supervisor or similar role in retail.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative with a strong eye for visual merchandising and fashion trends, especially in eyewear.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
