HIRING: Pastry Chef – French Bistro & Café, Greenhills Mall (San Juan)

Do you love creating exquisite pastries and desserts? Our French bistro and café in Greenhills Mall is seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to lead our pastry production. If you're passionate about French techniques: from flaky viennoiseries to delicate crepes, we'd love to have you on our team

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Full-time, on-site position at Greenhills Mall, San Juan
• At least 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Assistant Pastry Chef in cafés, restaurants, or hotels
• Culinary or Pastry Arts certification is a plus
• Experience making French-style pastries (croissants, viennoiseries, crepes, waffles, etc.)
• Strong pastry skills, recipe development knowledge, and understanding of kitchen workflow
• Able to create menus, manage costing, and handle inventory
• Proficient in MS Office; familiar with food & beverage operations

What You'll Do

• Produce high-quality pastries and desserts that meet our café's standards
• Collaborate on new menu items, seasonal offerings, and continuous product improvements
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
• Lead and support the pastry team, assigning tasks and managing production timelines
• Train junior staff and uphold excellent kitchen hygiene and safety practices
• Ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced pastry kitchen
