We are looking for a Site Mechanical Engineer to support the electromechanical works of a wastewater treatment project. The ideal candidate must be capable of interpreting plans, overseeing site activities, and coordinating effectively with various teams to ensure smooth project execution. The role requires someone who can meet high client expectations and maintain strong technical and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily electromechanical installation activities (e.g., pumps, piping, valves, blowers, mechanical equipment).
  • Ensure work follows approved plans, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Monitor safety, quality, and workmanship on-site
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other disciplines to avoid clashes and delays.
  • Participate in site meetings and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Interpret drawings, shop drawings, schematics, and updates to ensure installation accuracy.
  • Prepare project-related documentation when needed.
  • Ensure mechanical works comply with standards and approved materials.
  • Assist in the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Verify deliveries and ensure materials conform to approved submittals.
  • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for needed equipment.
  • Address client comments professionally, ensuring requirements and expectations are met.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding site progress and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • * Licensed / Registered Mechanical Engineer
  • * Experience in electromechanical or construction projects (wastewater/water treatment is a plus)
  • * Ability to read and interpret plans and technical documents
  • * Proficient in AutoCAD and basic engineering analysis tools
  • * Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
