Position Title: Developer (Java)

Role Exposure:

  • Be part of the digital transformation journey of the bank.
  • Be trained in translating software requirements into workable programming code and maintain and develop programs for use in business.
  • Enhance your creative and analytical skills by studying the consumer market and client needs to develop cutting-edge applications.

Job Summary:

  • Develop and maintain applications using Java, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Build REST APIs, microservices, and user-friendly front-end interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with banking security, risk, and regulatory standards.
  • Optimize performance, troubleshoot, and support production releases.
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and knowledge-sharing to the team.
  • Lead small to mid-sized project teams, managing timelines, deliverables, and risks.
  • Influence technology adoption and architectural decisions in alignment with IT strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years of full stack development experience.
  • Strong skills in:
    • Back-End: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs
    • Front-End: JavaScript (React / Angular / Vue), HTML5, CSS
    • Databases: SQL (Oracle/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
  • Familiar with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
  • Advanced leadership skills:
    • Ability to mentor and grow team members.
    • Experience leading agile/scrum teams.
    • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
    • Capable of driving innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Banking/financial services experience preferred but not required.
