Nextbank is Looking for an Android Developer to join our team, which is disrupting the FinTech and Regtech industries in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. As an Android Developer at Nextbank Software, you will work with highly passionate, ambitious, and talented teams in the Philippines and Poland. You will be exposed to the latest trends and technologies used in banking and finance, including micro-services, machine learning, AI, and cloud computing.

Key responsibilities:

● Building & maintaining server-side as well as front-end features

● Working closely with frontend & backend engineers

● Collaborating in code review process

● Taking ownership over parts of an application and collaborating on global issues

Key expectations:

● At least 5 years of working experience

● Good knowledge of Java, SQL & Spring Framework

● Familiarity with PostgreSQL database

● Experience in GIT

● Knowledge of Design Patterns

● Working in cross-discipline Agile team

● Understanding of agile engineering practices (CI/CD, Code Review, TDD, Continuous

Improvement)

● Willingness to learn new frameworks

Nice to have skills and competences:

● Knowledge of Mybatis

● Experience in DevOps - AWS/Terraform

● Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript/React/Angular

● Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php70, Php130,000.00 per month
