Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor – Duties & Responsibilities (FMCG)
Warehouse Operations
  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching FMCG products.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Monitor warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance when necessary.
Logistics & Distribution
  • Plan and oversee timely inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Track delivery performance and resolve issues like delays or damaged goods.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams for efficient distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with FMCG storage and handling requirements.
Team Management
  • Lead, train, and supervise warehouse and logistics staff.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Enforce safety protocols and company policies within the team.
Reporting & Process Improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
  • Analyze KPIs and identify areas for operational improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports for management review.

Qualifications (FMCG Focused)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 2–5 years in FMCG warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Skills:

  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of FMCG inventory control, stock rotation, and fast-paced operations.
  • Ability to manage teams and coordinate logistics efficiently.
