Key Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning and Sanitization:

  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and recreational facilities.

  • Clean and maintain residential units, ensuring they are ready and well-maintained for current residents.

  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures as needed.

2. Laundry Services:

  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.

3. Waste Management:

  • Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.

  • Ensure that recycling practices are followed in all cleaning duties.

4. Inventory and Equipment Maintenance:

  • Operate cleaning equipment and tools, ensuring they are used safely and maintained in good working condition.

  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate supervisor.

5. Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

  • Follow company policies related to cleaning standards and protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.

6. Resident Interaction:

  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Assist residents with minor requests related to housekeeping services.

7. Team Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and property management teams to ensure efficiency in operations.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding work progress and any issues encountered.

8. Special Projects:

  • Assist with special cleaning projects or events as directed by the supervisor, such as deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, or preparing units for events.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.

  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

  • May be required to work weekends, holidays, or after normal business hours.
