
Housekeeping Staff

Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning and Sanitization:
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and recreational facilities.
Clean and maintain residential units, ensuring they are ready and well-maintained for current residents.
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures as needed.
2. Laundry Services:
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
3. Waste Management:
Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
Ensure that recycling practices are followed in all cleaning duties.
4. Inventory and Equipment Maintenance:
Operate cleaning equipment and tools, ensuring they are used safely and maintained in good working condition.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
5. Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Follow company policies related to cleaning standards and protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
6. Resident Interaction:
Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
Assist residents with minor requests related to housekeeping services.
7. Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and property management teams to ensure efficiency in operations.
Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding work progress and any issues encountered.
8. Special Projects:
- Assist with special cleaning projects or events as directed by the supervisor, such as deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, or preparing units for events.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Working Conditions:
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
May be required to work weekends, holidays, or after normal business hours.
Exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals.
